We celebrated World Book Day, the whole school dressed up as a character out of their favourite book.
Year 6 went to the War Museum in Manchester today. To learn more about WW1, which is what we have been doing as our topic in class.
They thoroughly enjoyed their day out and found out lots of interesting facts.
Each Year group revised a poem of their choice to show to the whole school.
Year 6’s poem was called ‘My nose on the end of my face’
Bolton Arena came in to show the children some football skills then linked it in to their Maths work.
Welcome back after the half – term break. We hope everyone is well rested. This term we will continue to focus on the Tudors, making a Tudor pouch and looking closer into the monarchy.
In Maths we will be focusing on fractions and within English, Legends involving dragons.
Year 6 visited the Zakaria Mosque in Bolton to learn more about Islam and Allah. The children enjoyed the chance to explore another faith and their place of worship.
